Nicki Bell - Treasurer
I joined Hampshire Constabulary in 1996 and became a Sergeant in 2003. I have worked at Bitterne, Totton, Lyndhurst Custody, Hythe, Romsey, Eastleigh, Hedge End and most recently Portsmouth Custody.
From 2006 Until 2017 I was a part-time worker and thus fully aware of the need for a good work-life balance.
In this challenging climate, with ongoing changes, cuts, increasing demand and much uncertainty amongst our members, I wanted to step forward to become a Federation Representative to enable me to offer my ongoing support through difficult times involving such matters as misconduct, UPP, welfare, post-incident procedures, grievances and to ensure fairness is upheld. I became Treasurer in December 2017 and have brought to this the new role of wellbeing for officers as I am gravely concerned at the physical and mental impact the ever-increasing demands of the job are having on our members.
Please don't hesitate to contact me on any matters you wish to discuss.
